Pellet Plant
The Pellet Plant will consist of a Grinding Unit, Thickener Units, Filtration Unit, and Straight Grate Technology for induration. This advanced configuration will ensure uniform pellet size, superior strength, and energy efficiency. Designed for both Blast Furnace and DRI grades, it will support captive use and market sales with a reduced carbon footprint.
Coal Gasification
The Coal Gasification complex will integrate an Entrained Flow Gasifier, Carbon Capture and Liquefaction (CCL), Water Gas Shift (WGS) reactors, Acid Gas Removal (AGR), and a Sulphur Recovery Unit (SRU). This advanced setup will convert high-ash coal into clean syngas while capturing and liquefying CO₂ for utilization or storage, ensuring a reliable, low-emission fuel supply for green steel production.
DRI
The DRI Plant will use European shaft furnace technology, fed with Green Pellets and syngas from coal gasification. Integrated Carbon Capture and Liquefaction (CCL) will ensure emissions are minimized. Hot DRI will be directly charged into the EAF, improving energy efficiency and producing consistent, high-quality sponge iron for sustainable steelmaking.
Steel Melt Shop
The Steel Melt Shop will feature an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Furnace (LF), Vacuum Degassing (VD), and a Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) equipped with Electromagnetic Stirring (EMS). This configuration will enable precision refining, low-carbon steel production, and billets of exceptional purity, dimensional accuracy, and metallurgical strength for long products and seamless tube applications.
Rolling Mill
The Rolling Mill configuration will include an Induction Heater, Reheating Furnace, Block Mill, and Cooling Bed. Captive billets will be hot-charged from the caster, improving thermal efficiency and lowering costs. The facility will produce rebars and wire rods that will meet Indian construction standards, combining strength, quality, and low-carbon production for infrastructure needs.
