Greta Energy and Metal Private Limited Signs Coal Gasification Project Development and Production Agreement with Ministry of Coal
M/s Greta Energy and Metal Private Limited is proud to announce the signing of the Coal Gasification Project Development and Production Agreement with the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.
The signing ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries from the Ministry, including the Additional Secretary, Technical Director, and Technical Advisor. Representing Greta Energy were Mr. Ashis Kumar Mahapatro, CEO – Steel, and Mr. Vaibhav Kakulte, Vice President.
This landmark agreement represents a major milestone in Greta Energy’s journey to support the Government of India’s visionary National Coal Gasification Mission, which targets 100 million tonnes of coal gasification by 2030.
Greta Energy is in the advanced stages of finalising a world-class coal gasification technology and strategic partner to establish an integrated syngas production facility with Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS). This initiative reflects our strong commitment to responsible, sustainable, and innovative industrial development.
