Power Plant

A sustainable energy hub converting agricultural waste into clean, reliable power since 2012.

Greta Energy’s biomass-based power plant is a flagship example of sustainable energy innovation in India. Operational since August 2012, the facility reflects a strong European–Indian technology partnership, featuring a 15 MW Siemens regenerative steam turbine and a 70 TPH AFBC boiler with ACC from Cethar. Spanning 25 acres, the plant is supported by a 3,000 m³ water reservoir, 150,000 TPA biomass storage capacity, and a 25 TPH feeding system.

The facility utilises agricultural residues and organic waste to produce clean, renewable electricity, providing a dependable alternative to fossil fuels while advancing rural development and environmental stewardship. By converting biomass into energy, the plant reduces carbon emissions, strengthens circular economy practices, and creates employment opportunities across the supply chain. This model enhances India’s energy security and aligns closely with national climate goals.
