Greta Energy Awarded State Incentives under Maharashtra Industrial Promotion Scheme
Greta Energy has been awarded incentives by the Government of Maharashtra under the Industrial Promotion Scheme for its upcoming Greenfield Integrated Steel Project at Bhadrawati, Chandrapur. The project has also been recognized as part of the State’s Thrust Sector, highlighting its strategic importance in driving industrial growth and sustainability.
This recognition underscores the Government’s support for Greta Energy’s vision of green steelmaking integrated with Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU), while ensuring significant contributions to employment generation, rural development, and low-carbon industrialization in Maharashtra.
The formal announcement was graced by Greta Energy’s leadership, with Mr. Anup Goyal, Managing Director, representing the company and reaffirming Greta’s mission to establish India’s first fully integrated green steel complex powered by renewable energy and advanced European technology.
